In October, 2018, I photographed the Banc of California on behalf of Expedia. The stadium is the new football (soccer) stadium for the Los Angeles Football Club.

I have photographed football stadiums throughout the world, but I’ve never experienced a stadium like the Banc of California. It made me want to become a season ticket holder and I’m not even based in Los Angeles. According to the club owner, the stadium was designed with a focus on hospitality, to feel like a high end hotel. 

The Banc of California was designed by Gensler.
